Well-designed and well-built, Sunset is very clean, shows very well, and is in overall good and sound condition. Some of her best features include the master stateroom and ensuite, a galley with oodles of storage, and usable social deck space that rivals most other boats. Interior:

Entry inside is by way of her aft deck door, entry from fly-bridge or her port or starboard side doors. The aft entry accesses the main sleeping cabin, which has a lovely queen berth walk-around berth. A dresser cabinet with a long counter on port and a hanging locker and more drawers forward provide ample space for clothes and accessories. A large window lets in lots of natural light and the large mirror add to the spacious ambiance, but the window has opaque curtains when you want privacy. There is plenty of room for two folks to utilize the space freely. The starboard ensuite is a full head with separate shower stall, large sink and counter space, and plenty of knee room. The spacious main salon has amazing windows with coverings and stunning flooring. Beautifully crafted teak and holly wood is throughout the interior of Sunset. The salon also is furnished with a sofa, two lounge chairs, side tables, an entertainment cabinet, and a hi-low table with fold out wings for more formal dining. The inside steering station is to starboard and sliding doors on port and starboard access the side decks. A dining counter with seating for two overlooks the galley, which is down a few steps into the bow. Designed very nicely, the galley has q Princess electric stove and oven, large Norcold refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave, Corian countertop and tile backsplash, and a surprising amount of storage. The second head is in the bow and is also full with a stand-in shower stall. Both heads have Vacu-flush commodes. Two 30-gallon holding tanks serve the heads, and this boat has two hot water tanks and two stainless steel water tanks which hold a total of 325 gallons of fresh water. The secondary stateroom with a full bed, a hanging locker, and a vanity. Natural light and opportunities for ventilation are throughout and she has forced air diesel furnace heating for those winter months. This beauty has very little wear and tear and shows absolutely radiantly.

On Deck:

Sunset has a nice, large full width swim deck which easily takes you to the transom door for boarding. The lower back deck is large with nice, high sides and unencumbered. She has a cabinet with sink on this deck, as well as a washdown system. A short, angled ladder takes you to the mid-deck, which has a new full canvas and clear side doors to the side decks, as well as a hard top. This is like a secondary salon! She has space for nice sofa seating and is all-weather friendly. The salon extends up a few steps into the flybridge/sun deck, which is also fully enclosed with a fiberglass hard top. On nice days, remove the side and aft curtains on both levels for full access to the ocean breeze. Two helm seats and settee seating with storage, all dressed in beautiful white vinyl, create additional seating its very much a boat for gathering friends and family! Above the hard top is a stainless-steel electric dinghy davit and an Avon hard bottom dinghy. The molded non-skid deck is in great condition and extras throughout the decking include hand rails, a chest freezer, fishing pole and net storage, lighting, and more.

Engine and Mechanical:

Power comes by way of the two reliable Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines with 5,100 hours on each. They cruise at about 8 knots and have a top speed of 12 knots. She utilizes about five gallons of fuel per hour and she has four stainless steel fuel tanks which hold a generous total of 600 gallons of fuel. Sunset has hydraulic steering at the main helm and flybridge. Hoses and valves, her bronze three-blade propellers, and other items are in good condition and she comes with maintenance records. For anchoring, you have a 66-pound Bruce anchor on a Maxwell 3500 electric windlass with 300 feet of galvanized chain.

Electrical and Electronics:

While at the dock, plug Sunset into 30-amp shore power. While underway, she has a Northern Lights 8kw diesel generator set with 3,100 hours on it for your power needs. She has a Pro Mariner 50 battery charger and a Heart Interface invertor, four start batteries and two housebanks. Batteries were new in 2022. She has a galvanic isolator and a Victron Battery tender for house batteries. Navigation electronics are included at both helms and feature her Furuno Nav Net depth sounder, plotter and radar, and her Furuno GPS. For communications, there are Icom VHFs. Both helms also have a Danforth compass, knot and depth meters, rudder angle indicators and Airmar weather stations. For entertainment, Sunset has a stereo system featuring Pioneer and Kenwood components. For easy docking, she has a Lewmar electric bow thruster.
